Backup and Hard Drive Cloning using Paragon Scripting Language – Technical White Paper
Paragon Scripting Language (PSL) automates disk/partition backup routines and hard drive cloning and imaging procedures of virtually any complexity. Along with supporting operations interactively, PSL provides some additional features such as conditional execution, subroutines, repeatable iterations, disk/partition properties analysis, error management, and more.
Paragon’s technology uses two modes of execution: interactive and batch processing. The interactive mode has a graphical interface and requires the user to carry out operations. While working in the batch mode you can control the operation by using a file of script commands. A script file is a text based file written in Paragon Scripting Language. It contains a set of operations and the appropriate settings to execute these operations without further user interaction.
